Frequently Asked Questions

Coaching with me is having deep conversations with a trusted professional. I help you mine through what you love with the idea that you will uncover your values. For you, it’s saying “enough with the status quo” and taking risks, no matter how small, to become the person you were meant to be. Coaching is more than reading self-help books, it’s making the commitment through conversation and action to move towards progress, not perfection.

Who doesn’t? Whether you want to lead a major corporation or a small family, I can help you be the CEO of your life. More importantly, I can help you master communication skills that make life easier, whether in the board room or the bedroom. Coaching with me can also be used to navigate a career, from a student deciding on their post-high-school path to retirees making plans for their next chapter. I believe that people who want coaching are creative, resourceful and whole, and that my job is to help you understand and meet your unique goals in the shortest time possible.

Both therapy and coaching revolve around conversations that reveal sometimes hidden, or not so hidden, truths. The difference is that therapy is mostly looking to the past to heal, while coaching acknowledges the past, but uses it as a vehicle to move towards the future.

Curiosity about people and their dreams was the inciting event for my life coaching journey. There are a number of programs accredited through the International Coaching Federation. I studied and completed the curriculum through the Co-Active Training Institute and am working on my Associated Coaching Certificate.

While a consultant is usually an expert in their field, and can come to the client with a specific roadmap to solve a problem, I am a professional who not only can help you create the steps to reach a goal, but can also help you excavate your truths and gain clarity to determine what you even want. I also stand next to my client and encourage them through each step.

We are all a mass of stories that we tell ourselves, yet we never stop to think whether these stories, which motivate us, are true. To rewrite our story means to open up to the full responsibility of authoring our own life. By reframing our inner dialogue, we not only open ourselves to the hero we are, but can plot a new purpose to create a dynamic arc towards a satisfying conclusion.
